1. Introduction

Welcome to Rinas Taxi Albania. By booking or using our services you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms are written to be transparent and consumer-friendly and reflect our commitment to safety, data protection, and clear pricing.

2. Our Services

Rinas Taxi provides transport and transfer services across Albania, including:

  • Airport transfers (pickups and drop-offs at Tirana International Airport – Rinas)
  • City-to-city and intercity transfers
  • Hotel and accommodation transfers
  • Day trips and city tours
  • 24/7 taxi availability
  • Eco-friendly electric vehicles (when available)

All drivers are licensed and vehicles are insured and maintained in accordance with applicable Albanian transport regulations.

3. Bookings & Confirmations

Bookings may be made via our website, by phone, or in person at Rinas Airport. After a booking is received we will confirm by phone, SMS or email. Please provide accurate contact, pickup time, address and flight details. A confirmed booking creates a service agreement between you and Rinas Taxi under these terms.

4. Pricing & Payments

We apply fixed fares for airport transfers and intercity journeys. Within Tirana city limits fares are calculated using a taximeter in accordance with local regulations.

  • Prices are shown in Albanian Lek (ALL) or Euros (€).
  • Payment is accepted in cash only and is collected by the driver at the end of the trip.
  • All applicable taxes are included where required. Any additional fees (for extra waiting time, special requests, or extended stops) will be communicated before departure.

5. Cancellations & Changes

Cancellations made at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled pickup are free of charge. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur the full fare. To change a booking contact us as soon as possible; changes depend on driver availability. If your flight is delayed we monitor arrivals and will adjust pickup time at no extra cost.

6. Passenger Safety & Conduct

Your safety is our priority. Passengers must:

  • Wear seatbelts while the vehicle is moving.
  • Avoid smoking or consuming alcohol inside vehicles.
  • Treat drivers and vehicles with respect.
  • Ensure children travel with the appropriate child seat (available on request).

Rinas Taxi may refuse service to anyone behaving aggressively, dangerously, or illegally.

7. Liability

We strive for punctuality and reliability, but Rinas Taxi is not liable for delays or losses caused by factors outside our control, including traffic, severe weather, road closures, or flight disruptions. We are not responsible for indirect losses such as missed flights, accommodation costs or business delays.

8. Lost or Left Items

If you leave an item in one of our vehicles please contact us immediately. We will make reasonable efforts to locate and return lost property. Rinas Taxi cannot guarantee recovery of items and is not responsible for valuables left in the vehicle.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

Rinas Taxi complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Albanian data protection law. We collect only the personal information necessary to provide services (for example: name, contact details, flight information, pickup/drop-off addresses).

  • Personal data is used solely to process bookings, manage service delivery, and for customer support.
  • We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except when required by law or to provide the booked service (e.g., regulatory requests).

10. Complaints & Customer Rights

We take complaints seriously. If you are dissatisfied with any part of our service please contact us within 7 days of your trip. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to resolve it fairly and quickly in line with Albanian consumer protection rules.

11. Amendments

Rinas Taxi may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect legal, operational or service changes. All updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
